What stays on your device
Lungsmaxing works without an account. The name or nickname, selected recovery target, cannabis, vaping, or cigarette baseline, quit plan, motivations, preparation choices, Daily Presence check-ins, urge activity, three-life Path status, recorded-use history, Path Levels, and estimate evidence you provide or generate are stored locally on your device.
Lungsmaxing does not transmit this journey information to the developer, sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to track you across apps or websites.
The app currently contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, social-network, or cloud-sync SDKs. If a future version adds off-device collection or optional sync, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that version is released, and consent will be requested where required.
There is currently no account or journey sync. Journey data does not automatically appear on another device, so deleting the local journey or removing the app can remove progress that is not otherwise preserved by Apple’s device-backup behavior.
Widgets
Lungsmaxing can place limited journey status in an Apple app-group container so its Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets can work. That shared local state can include Time on Path, current Level, Daily Presence status, remaining lives, and an active timed Urge Support activity. It does not include your name, selected target, dose, notes, or event history, and it is not transmitted to the developer.
Apple and iOS control where widgets appear. You can remove a widget from the Home Screen or Lock Screen and end an active Urge Support session in Lungsmaxing.
Purchases
Lungsmaxing offers weekly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions processed by Apple’s StoreKit system. Eligible new subscribers can receive 3 days free after selecting a plan and confirming the subscription with Apple. Apple determines introductory-offer eligibility, processes subscription transactions, and provides the app with signed product, subscription-status, and entitlement information. Lungsmaxing reads that information only to present purchase status and decide whether access is available.
Lungsmaxing does not attach your name, recovery target, baseline, motivations, Daily Presence, Path lives, urge activity, recorded-use history, or journey dates to purchase information or transmit that journey information to the developer.
If you receive an introductory trial, no subscription charge is made during the trial. After the trial, the selected plan renews at the price shown in the Apple purchase sheet unless canceled before the trial ends. If you are not eligible, Apple shows the applicable price and billing terms before confirmation.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when applicable. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge the account for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel in App Store account settings and use Restore Purchases inside Lungsmaxing.
Lungsmaxing uses separate weekly and yearly StoreKit subscription products in its Full Access subscription group. Its reserved lifetime compatibility hook is not sold; a grandfathered lifetime entitlement, if present, remains readable. These internal product identifiers do not change the privacy practices described here.
Your controls
You can correct your plan in Journey settings. To permanently delete local journey data, use Journey settings → Start a different path → Delete journey and start over. If access is locked, Delete local data remains available on the access screen.
Removing the app also removes its local app container, subject to device and backup behavior managed by Apple. Deleting the local journey or reinstalling the app does not cancel an active subscription or erase a grandfathered lifetime entitlement. Subscription management and transaction history remain associated with your Apple Account, and an eligible purchase can be restored.
This website and support email
These static pages contain no advertising or contact forms. Optional Google Analytics website measurement stays completely off unless you select Allow analytics. Before that choice, the site does not load the Google tag, set Google Analytics cookies, or send analytics or consent-status requests to Google. A Global Privacy Control or enabled Do Not Track browser signal also keeps website analytics off.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics can receive page visits, limited campaign parameters, the referring site, basic browser and device information, and technical request data needed to provide the service. The site removes query parameters other than utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign before measurement. Lungsmaxing does not send your app journey, recovery target, baseline, notes, support email, or an account identifier to website analytics. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and Google signals are disabled in the site tag.
Your analytics choice is stored in this browser’s local storage so the site can remember it. If analytics is allowed, Google Analytics may set first-party _ga cookies to distinguish browsers and visits. Use Analytics choices in the footer to withdraw permission; the site then blocks future analytics in that browser and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. Previously collected information remains subject to the configured Google Analytics retention period. Clearing browser data also clears the saved choice.
The site is hosted by Vercel, which may process basic request and security information such as an IP address, request time, requested page, and browser details to deliver and protect the site. If you allow analytics, Google processes the website measurement described above. Support email is handled through Gmail. These providers may process information outside Québec or Canada, including in the United States, under their own service terms and privacy practices. The developer limits the information intentionally sent to each provider to what is reasonably needed for hosting, optional measurement, or responding to support.
If you email support, the email services used by you and the developer process the address and message you provide. Do not send recovery details, dose information, personal notes, medical records, passwords, purchase receipts, or full Apple Account details. The developer uses support correspondence only to respond, investigate the issue, prevent abuse, and keep records required for legal or operational purposes.
Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, then deleted or anonymized where feasible. You may request deletion by emailing support from the same address and identifying the correspondence. A request may be limited where retention is required by law or reasonably needed to resolve the request, protect the service, or document compliance. Deleting a journey or the app does not delete email held by the email services.
Safeguards and retention
The app reduces privacy risk by keeping journey information on the device, avoiding accounts and advertising, and limiting widget data. For the information the developer does handle, such as support correspondence and optional website reports, reasonable administrative and technical measures are used, including access controls on service accounts, multifactor authentication where available, and collecting less information by default. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so these measures reduce risk rather than guarantee absolute security.
Journey information remains on your device until you delete the journey or app, subject to Apple-managed backup behavior. The developer does not set that local retention period because the information is not received. Support correspondence is retained as described above. Optional Google Analytics event data is retained according to the settings selected in the service; the developer intends to use the shortest practical retention available. Google may also delete or aggregate information under its service rules. Operational hosting and security logs are controlled by the hosting provider’s configured retention and service terms.
Your privacy rights and questions
You may ask whether the developer holds personal information about you, request access to it, or ask that inaccurate information be corrected. Because app journey information is not sent to the developer, those requests will usually concern support correspondence or information you deliberately provided outside the app. To make a request or raise a privacy complaint, email the Privacy Officer at arcera.studio@gmail.com from an address that can reasonably identify the relevant correspondence. The developer may need to verify the request and may decline or limit it where applicable law permits or requires.
If a concern is not resolved, you may contact the privacy regulator that applies where you live, including Québec’s Commission d’accès à l’information. This policy describes the developer’s current operating practices and is not a promise that a regulator will accept jurisdiction over every request.
Policy changes
This policy may change when the app, website, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date before or when the new practice begins, and an in-app notice or consent request will be used where reasonably appropriate or required. Earlier versions may be requested from the Privacy Officer.
